The Benefits of Futon Bedding

A futon is a valuable invention for those of us who are limited on space but still want comfort and versatile furniture. The Japanese invented futons because space was always limited there.  The Japanese live in small spaces and they needed to save space.  So they came up with a piece of furniture that works as a bed, bed, and chair.  This article will give you more information about futon bedding and how you can use it in your small apartment.

The great thing about futons is that they are usually very mobile so if you are truly living in an efficieny and you have to save every square foot of space, you can roll it into the closet for storing until you need it.  Make sure you get futon bedding that has a separate frame and mattress so that it is easier to move and carry.

Compared to bunk beds and couches, futons offer a great space saving piece of furniture that doubles as a bed and a couch.  There are even new futon bunk beds. The top is a twin bed for the little one and the bottom is a futon for the bigger child.

Futon bedding is now advised for people who have back problems.  There are firm mattresses that you can put on a futon frame and they even have the new memory foam mattresses and even organice mattresses for people who want to live green.  So you can get your back supported at night and support a clean environment.

Futon beds are perfect for financially strapped college kids and newlyweds.  They are a nice replacement from hand me down run down couches and bean bag furniture.  You don't have to buy cheap futon bedding either.  Since they are very popular, you can find nice frames at the weekly garage sales or you can shop on eBay or Craigslist.

So if you need a nice new piece of furniture and short on space, consider getting a new futon bed for your house or apartment and get two pieces of furniture in one - a nice comfortable bed and nice comfortable couch.
